Building

Solarpunk building guide covering Build Hammer, stairs, bridges, foundations, brick, glass, dismantling, storage, shelves, and base layout.

Building is practical navigation as much as decoration. Stairs, bridges, foundations, storage, and material unlocks all affect how easy the base is to use.

What To Do With It

  • Use the Build Hammer for houses, stairs, bridges, and difficult terrain.
  • Upper floors attach to foundations to create bridges.
  • Foundation height can be adjusted when terrain gets awkward.
  • Brick and glass building materials are research paths, so leave room to upgrade the base later.

Player Route

Build paths before rooms. Stairs, bridges, foundation height, and storage access make every other system faster. A pretty room that forces long walks between crops, water, crafting, and power is worse than a plain workshop that keeps the base moving. Unlock brick and glass after the core route is stable, then rebuild or decorate around that route.

Game Behavior

  • Gameplay tips explain stairs, bridges, foundation height, the building wheel, and dismantling.
  • Research text includes Brick Materials, Glass Materials, Storage Shelves, Signs & Map Markers, and many decoration packs.
  • Buildable piece names include timber, brick, and glass walls, floors, roofs, railings, doors, stairs, and foundations.
